Stress Relief
During the school year, students can become overloaded with schoolwork and although work and grades are important,
there needs to be more of an emphasis on a student's mental health.
Remember you are not a machine, to perform well in school you must be in a stable state of mind.
Luckily, our team has created exercises and tips to help you relieve stress and anxiety that comes with being a student.

Tips and Tricks:
- Take a break from your work for a little while if things become too overwhelming.
- Do some stretches to relax your body.
- Practice meditation.
- Engage in one of your hobbies for a little bit to distract yourself.
- Eat something.
- Hang out with your friends for a while.
Causes of Stress:
- Lack of Sleep
- Mental Disorder(**NOTE**-If this applies, you should always get checked on regularly)
- Negative Changes
- Being Overworked
- Traumatic Events
- Leaving Something Unfinished
- Death of a Loved One
- Emotional Issues
- Bullying/ Harrassment
Avoiding Stress:
- Don't try to take on more work than your capable of doing.
- Try to talk about your feelings and learn to express your emotions in a positive way.
- Keep planners/ journals to stay organized.
- Stay aware of what your body needs and when you need it.
- Talk to your peers when you start to feel overwhelmed.
